I am a retired nurse and have lived in Freshford for nearly five years, having moved here with my husband Steve when we both retired. We have seven children between us so we know how busy family life can be!
I love living in the village. We have received an amazing welcome since we arrived from both the church and our neighbours.
I am a volunteer in the shop and café and belong to both the History and Horticultural societies. In such a vibrant village it’s hard not to be involved!
I feel privileged to be asked to be a churchwarden at St Peter’s. I have been a Christian for many years and look forward to being involved in the newly restored church.
I want the church to be a place where everyone feels welcome and the light and message of Jesus shines out into our community.
