Steve Ashcroft

I am a retired Programme/Project Manager and have lived in Freshford since 2018, having moved here with my wife Debbie shortly after we both retired. We have seven children between us and an ever-expanding family, so we know how busy life can be!

We feel blessed living in Freshford and love the vibrancy of the village and friendliness of the people…  and we think this is where God wants us.

I am a volunteer in the shop and help with both the History and Horticultural societies.

I have been involved in the restoration of the church over 22/23 to give it a refresh and add new facilities.

I want the church to be a place that is attractive and welcoming to everyone…  And where people can come, feel safe, learn and meet with Jesus.
