Prayer for November
Dear Lord, now the fireworks are over and the winter is coming, we thank you for your provision to us always. For warm homes and sufficient food to keep us satisfied. As we think of all we have make us mindful of those without. Especially with the weather turning colder. We pray for those struggling to 'make ends meet' and for those sleeping rough in our city. Thank you for those groups who reach out with practical help to those in need. Give us a generous spirit to give where we can to help the groups who already do this so well. Help us, Lord, not to be grumblers but to be grateful. In Jesus name. Amen.
All meetings will be held in the upstairs room of the Old Bakery. These meetings are a short, peaceful and informal part of the church week.
Every Wednesday each week
Midweek Prayer 8.30 - 9.00am
There is also a prayer time held on Monday lunchtimes at 12.30pm in the Old Bakery, to which everyone is welcome.
- We are hoping that a group of us will call on every household to leave a prayer card behind, in the not too distant future, offering prayer if at any time you feel you would value our support in your lives. This is not a social service but a listening and caring ear. Even if you have nothing you need our support with when you receive the card please keep the card to use when you do.
- On the contact page you can send us your prayer requests now and we will pray for you according to your requests.
- At the end of each service, if you wish, we are happy to pray with you. Please ask the Rector or one of the church wardens.
