OUR CURRENT MONTHLY SERVICE PATTERN

  • 1st Sunday in each month

10.30am Parish Holy Communion at St John Hinton Charterhouse – using Common worship this is a communion service but with some informality

6.00pm Evening worship at The Bakery, Freshford. This is an informal worship time with modern worship songs and a chance to learn and practice prophesy, healing ministry and learn more of what it is to be a disciple

 

  • 2nd Sunday in Each Month

9.00am Holy Communion at St Mary, Limpley Stoke. This is more traditional but using a mix of old and new material

10.30am Morning Worship at St Peter, Freshford. A service for all where there is an air of informality and the chance to pray for each other. Children are most welcome.

In the New Year we will run 6.00pm Café Church in the Memorial hall in Hinton - more information to follow nearer the time.

6.00pm Evening service at St Mary, Limpley Stoke – a mixture of old and new in a form of evening prayer.

 

  • 4th Sunday in Each Month

10.30am Morning Worship at St John, Hinton. Started with the help of a team from Holy Trinity Combe Down this service has introduced more people into leading worship in various ways. We lean new songs and currently use a screen to display the service and songs, saving on the use of paper. Still open to change.

4.00pm Messy Church @ ‘4’ is in St Mary's Church in Limpley Stoke and is a chance for children and parents to worship together around craft and food with a short service, music and puppets.

 

  • 5th Sunday in Each Month 

At present the morning communion is at 10.30am and moves around the three churches. This is a mix of formal and informal.

Proposed to also run 6.00pm a Healing service – quiet devotional service with a chance to receive or give prayer for healing.
